Sponsored by the nation's oldest and largest AIDS advocacy organization, this poster highlighted the impact of homophobia on the federal government's HIV/AIDS initiatives during a highly-publicized march for gay and lesbian rights. It notes that anti-gay bias has retarded research, prevention and treatment programs—and that homophobic repression itself has historically made the AIDS epidemic worse.
